90% of our New Patients come by personal recommendation. The Practice has become extremely popular as a result of the trust developed between patient, dentist and supporting staff.
All patients have individual needs. Your first visit will be the first step towards developing the trust and personal tailored care that you require.
The practice is accepting new patients and appointments are available daily. All facilities are available on the ground floor via the wheelchair access if necessary.
At the first visit you will be welcomed and introduced to the dentist and assistants. The necessary paperwork has to be completed. This includes a detailed medical history (please bring a list of medication taken with you). You will have an opportunity to tell us of any aspects of dentistry you may not have been happy with in the past. You may wish to discuss modern developments you have seen or heard of e.g. whitening gels and veneers.
The dentist will need to examine you and carry out a full oral screen and take digital x-rays if appropriate. Most patients are recommended to see our hygienist to help them achieve and maintain good oral health. An appointment with our hygienist can be organised during the first visit.
If you feel the dentist will need to spend extra time with you - for example - you feel very nervous, have complex treatment options you wish to discuss, our receptionist can allocate more time.
We are proud to have been one of the first practices to be accredited with Denplan Excel ensuring that each member of our team is highly qualified and has the opportunity to continually develop, improve and update their skills.
A New Patient Assessment is £120 - We do ask for a £50 deposit to secure a new patient booking. This will be deducted from the cost of your appointment. However should you fail to attend your appointment on the day, the deposit will be used to cover the time that could have been used for another patient. If you would like to know more information regarding fees this can be found under the 'Fees Tab'.
You can telephone for advice or just call into the practice and talk to one of our trained staff at any time.
